The Osby PB 2 is a highly efficient hot water boiler specifically designed for firing wood pellets, briquettes or wood chips. Ease of operation together with reliability are paramount features of the design.

Operation of the PB 2 requires only the minimal of manual intervention and a brief annual shut down for inspection and maintenance. The boiler’s automatic tube cleaning system ensures a high boiler efficiency is maintained without the need for frequent shut downs and manual cleaning. A hydraulically driven stepped grate automatically moves the fuel through the combustion chamber and discharges residual ash. Screw conveyors automatically remove ash and dust from the boiler, conveying it to a single collection skip. The boiler can automatically control between 25%-100% of the design output.

To increase flexibility, two types of control system are offered, one system for controlling the boiler functions via a simple display and a more comprehensive system for controlling an entire heating plant. It is possible to operate and monitor the system remotely.
